Trentinara offers visitors better-quality landscape and environment, an enviable climate with fresh and airy summers and the genuineness of all its food products, from the wine to the oil, from the white figs of Cilento to the chestnuts, to the cheeses and the bread, most of them certified as typical geographical products of guaranteed quality (DOC, DOP E IGP). In ancient times the reaping was one of the most involving events, since everybody - the owners of the land and the people from the near farms - participated in the work using the scythe. By the gleaning all the ears remained on the ground during reaping were picked up; from here the local expression "se speculea.

The wheat was then stored in sacks and brought to the barn, where it was kept to be time by time ground at the mill, becoming flour.
